OYO STATE CHAPTER OF THE ALL NIGERIAN PEOPLE'S PARTY IS A RUDDERLESS PARTY – ALAO-AKALA

The Oyo State Government has advised the ANPP to stop wallowing in self-pity as a result of the latest defection of Four (4) House of Assembly Members from its fold to the PDP.

In a statement signed by Prince Dotun Oyelade the Special Adviser on Public Communications to the Governor, alluding bribery to the wise decision of the legislators to abandon the ANPP sinking ship has become the trade mark of the party’s rudderless leaders.

The legislators and other party leaders left because of the performance of the Alao-Akala Administration and lack of political far-sightedness of the remaining leaders in the ANPP.

On the sale of government quarters to civil servants and members of the public, the statement said that Governor Alao-Akala was voted in to take wise decisions on the people’s behalf, no matter how tough in as much as it is for their own good.

Proceeds from the sale of the government quarters of which 67 civil servants benefited, will be used to beef up the accounts of the State Pension Scheme of which civil servants are the sole beneficiaries.

The statement accused the ANPP of lack of ideas on how to utilize and deploy resources hence, its resort to emotional and primordial sentiments.
