So far, nine (9) Health Centres have been fenced with main gate. Total amount of these nine fenced health centres is N4, 501,000.00

1. Cultivation of 5 acres of pineapples at the Local Government farm, Onifufu, Ido

4. Cultivation of 3 acres of Teak and Melina as part of its afforestation programme at the Local Government farm, Onifufu, Ido

B. Programmes
1. Training programme for poultry farmers on surveillance activities to prevent and control Avian Influenza (Bird flu) at Teachers House
2. Vaccination for ruminants (Cattle, Sheep and Goat) at 8 designation
centres e.g. Popoyemoja, Foko, Isale-Osi, Orita-merin, OkeAdo, Molete, Apata and Odo-ana 3. Participation at the World Food Day Celebration 2007 and 2008 4. Inauguration Ceremony of the Local GovernmentTechnical Committee on Avian Influenza

C. Logistics
1. Purchase of a Nissan Double Cabin Vehicle for easy access to the villages for Primary Health Care
A. Medical
1. Establishment of a Laboratory
Laboratory was established at Molete in order to provide blood screening services and other laboratory services to the people of the Local Government area.
2. LACA-HIV/AIDS Programme
This Local Government had carried out advocacy/sensitization on HIV/AIDS in two wards i.e. Wards 2 and 3
3. Dentistry
Oral Dental examination was carried out in Ward 6 in the month of November 2008 and March 2009, in collaboration with Unilever and Nigerian
4. Provision of Drugs in the Health Centres
Drugs were purchased as at when due for the health centres on monthly basis
5. Antenatal Care Services
Routine Immunization Exercise was carried out in all the Local Government Maternity Centres on regular below:

Environmental Health And Disease Control
1. Health Education
Visitation to private and public schools to give health talks on healthy living and monthly environmental sanitation was carried out within December 2007 to June 2009
2. Clearing of Refuse
Clearing of refuse on regular basis within the Local Government was carried out in the following areas:

3. Chlorination of Wells
Chlorination of wells was carried out in all the 12 Wards in the LG Fumigation: Fumigation of all health facilities in the Local Government was done twice in a year Le. in December 2007 to 2009. Parastatal offices which includes State Security Services office at Alalubosa was fumigated yearly and public schools who reported various cases of airborne diseases were fumigated.
4. Clearing of Blocked Drainage
Various drainages within the metropolis were cleared within the year 2007 and 2009 which include blocked drainages at (a) Oke Bola: (b)Aleshinloye junction (c) Apata (d) OkeAdo (e) Foko
5. Maintenance of Toilets
Feaces in the toilets already filled up in the under listed areas were evacuated:

6. Cutting of overgrown Weeds
Overgrown weeds were cut in the years being reviewed as follows:

7. Monthly Environmental Sanitation
Environmental Sanitation was carried out in the Local Government as pronounced by His Excellency Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala on monthly basis Social Development, Education, Information, Sports And Culture.
The above department during the period under review achieved the following:
1. Donation offoods/provisions and other items to the Oyo State Prison Service, Agodi forthe end of the year entertainment forthe inmates
2. Participation in the alao-Akala Pace-setter Unity Cup competition
3. Participation in Coach Adeyemi Tella Under 17 Cup competition
4. Participation in Oyo State Speaker’s Cup Football competition
