OGO OLUWA LOCAL GOVERNMENT
The administrative headquarters of Ogo Oluwa Local Government area is located at Ajaawa and it was created in 1989.
It covers a landmass of 415.951 square kilometer with a population density of 178 persons per square kilometer. Using a growth rate of 3.2% from 2006 population census, the 2010 estimated population of the Local Government Area was estimated to be 73,939. Ogo Oluwa Local Government Area shares boundaries with Ogbomoso Local Government Area to the North, Oriire and Surulere Local Government Area to the southern part. It also shares boundaries with Ogun State.
Dominated by the Yorubas and other resident tribes, the people are of different religious background i.e Christianity, Islamic and Traditional religion.
The Local Government Area is endowed with wide expanse of land suitable for agricultural activities. Majority of the people are predominantly farmers who specialize in the cultivation of both arable and cash crops. The fertile soil in the area enhances the cultivation of fruits of various types.
