Coalition of Civil Society commends Ajimobi on Infrastructural Development in The State


Oyo state Governor, senator Abiola Ajimobi has been commended for pursuing aggressive infrastructural development in all the nooks and crannies of the State.

The Vice Chairman, Coalition of Civil Society Groups of Nigeria, Commrade Ade Adeniran gave the commendation during the courtesy visit of the group to the office of the Governor in Ibadan.

He noted that the coalition  group has appraised the activities of Oyo State Government and realized that the Governor Ajimobi led  administration has performed excellently in the  construction of bridges, road networks across the state and improvement  on the aesthetics of the state through beautification of the environment which has  attracted both local and  foreign investors to the State.

Commrade Adeniran, while commending Oyo State Government for the successful conduct of the just   concluded local Government election in the state hinted that human right activism is not about criticism alone but also about the appraisal of performance of Governance at all levels.

Speaking through the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Olalekan Alli, Governor Ajimobi reiterated his commitment towards the provision of dividends of democracy to the people without jeopardizing the achievement recorded in infrastrucures, education, security and health sector.

Governor Ajimobi however, called on other human right groups in the society to emulate the good virtue of the coalition of civil society group by recognizing exemplary performance of leaders and people in Government.

Awards of honour  was presented to him by the coalition of Civil society Group at the office of the secretary to the state Government Alh Olalekan Ali who represented the Governor.
