The Ministry of Liaison Affairs created by His Excellency, Governor Abiola Ajimobi is no doubt a novel one, and unarguably the first of such in the history of the pacesetter state, and perhaps in Nigeria as a whole.
The Liaison Affairs is an Office in the Governor’s Office, whose responsibilities among others is to source and disseminate vital policies, issues and other information between the State Government and other States of the Federation. The Liaison Office also engages and collaborates with the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission.
The creation of the Bureau of Liaison Services in June 2016 is a good initiative of His Excellency which has helped carving a good reputation and image for our dear Pace-Setter State. Establishment of the Bureau would create doors of opportunities for Oyo State to further promote cooperation between her and other Governments, non-governmental organizations and other development partners.
