Conventional Literacy Programme:
This is a programme designed for illiterate adults and out-of-school youth cum early school leavers in the Society with a view to making them literate/school completers. The programme provides three levels of learning engagement, namely:-
From 2007 to date a total of 37,924 illiterates were trained (16,537 males and 21,387 females). A total of 102 literacy classes with an average of 24 learners per class were engaged in 2012.

Literacy on Radio Programme
This programme has been designed to be heard on radio channels as a mass out-reach effort for the benefit of learners who can not benefit from the Conventional Literacy class approach. For year 2013 literacy on radio activities of the Agency, 66 facilitators were trained on basis of two (2) per local government area of the State. The facilitators would in turn be deployed as instructors to guide learners register for the programme during face-to-face contact sessions.
