Agricultural credit corporation of oyo state (ACCOS) is saddled originally with the responsibility of financing peasant farmers in the state through her soft loan programme but with the global trend of agricultural financing in line with government diversification agenda, the agency is restructured towards financing farming under the “Home grown anchor borrowers’ scheme” in a bid to showcase agriculture as a business rather than hobby.

Our Vision

The vision of the Corporation is to stabilize the economy of Oyo State by stimulating interest in agribusinesses thereby increasing food and agricultural raw material production for consumption and industrial use.

Our Mission

To upgrade peasant farming into viable agribusinesses for gainful employment and income generation in Oyo State.
Operations of Agricultural Credit Corporation of Oyo State has been restructured from its traditional model of disbursing cash empowerment directly to farmers in the State to farmer’s empowerment under “Home-grown anchor borrowers’ scheme” with provision of required agricultural inputs and services in order to prevent diversion of funds for purposes other than agriculture.
