Gov. Seyi Makinde Flagged Off The N1billion Oyo State Micro, Small And Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development Intervention Fund

Earlier today, Gov. Seyi Makinde flagged off the N1Billion Oyo State Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) development intervention fund as part of the State’s post-COVID-19 economic recovery plan.

The Governor in his address while making the symbolic presentation to three beneficiaries made it known that the MSMEs intervention fund will benefit organizations that have, between less than 10 and less than 200 employees.

He added that the scheme will target the growth of MSMEs in the State for an enhanced GDP, as well as create more employment opportunities for the people of Oyo State.

He made it known that the State Government is effecting the intervention through the Oyo State Investment and Public Private Partnership Agency; while adding that the scheme is targeted at reaching MSMEs across the 33 Local Governments Areas in the State with the provision of up to Three Million Naira per MSME.

The funds will be disbursed through Micro finance banks at a single digit interest rate.
