11 Aug Oyo Anti-corruption Agency Calls For More Petitions
The Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency (OYACA) has called on members of the public to submit petitions on cases bordering on corruption practices in Government agencies, Ministries and departments.
The agency claimed it has received several petitions from Ministries, Departments, Agencies as well as from indigenes and residents of Oyo State, which were being investigated.
A statement signed by the Chairman, OYACA, Justice Eni Esan on Wednesday urged members of the public to report cases that are corruption related to the agency’s office at Quarters 473, Fajimi Street, Agodi G.R.A, Ibadan.
“Let us join hands to create a corruption-free Oyo State and build a prosperous State, members of the public are encouraged to report cases that border on corrupt practices within the State to our office.
“We have received several petitions from Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government, as well as from indigenes and residents of Oyo State, thorough investigations have been carried out and concluded in respect of some petitions, while investigations are still ongoing in other cases,” the statement hinted.
