11 Sep Makinde Jerks Up Car and Housing Loan for Civil Servants in Oyo State
Says workers should be committed to their duties
Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has reaffirmed the commitment of his administration’s welfare to the Civil servants in the State by increasing the Car and Housing loan schemes from Five Hundred Thousand Naira to Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira and the housing loan from Two Million Naira to Three Million Naira in order to assist the Civil servants in the State.
The Governor made the disclosure through the Head of Service of the State, Mrs. Amidat Agboola at the interactive session with Civil and Public Servants in commemoration of One Hundred Days Celebration held at Governor’s Office Car Park Ibadan.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has approved that Car loan scheme and housing loan Scheme be reviewed upward. To this end, the maximum amount for Car loan is now Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (#750,000.00) from five hundred thousand Naira (N500,00.00) while the housing loan has also increased from Two Million Naira(#2000,000.00) to Three Million Naira(#3000,000.00).”
HOS stated that the Governor was also approved monthly grant #20,000,000.00 for car loan form mainstream, #15,000,000.00 as Car loan for TESCOM Staff and #20,000,000.00 for Housing Loan to ensure that more Civil Servants are benefited from the Schemes.
Mrs. Agboola therefore charged all the Civil and Public Servants to be more committed to their duties and shun any activity that can tarnish the image of the Service and their families in general.
She urged them to rededicate themselves to the duties and desist from truancy, lateness to work, embezzlement, hobnobbing and other improper conducts that could jeopardize their carriers.
“This is the time for us to be rededicated to our duties, truancy, lateness to work, disloyalty to the Government, embezzlement, hobnobbing and other improper conducts would not be condoned and anyone found culpable of such act should be ready to face the wrath of the law”.
