10 Feb 2020 Another Laudable Achievement For Oyo State In Weightlifting

In preparation for the forth coming 20th National Sports Festival tagged “Edo 2020”, Oyo State Athlete, Lawal Rofiat has recorded another laudable achievement for the state in the ongoing “6th Solidarity Weightlifting Championship” taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (between 8th and 15th February, 2020). She won three (3) gold medals in her own category.

The Championship is one of the mandatory silver level qualification events for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

In the light of the above, the management of Oyo State Sports Council have reiterated her commitment to make the State proud in the forth coming National Sports Festival in Edo State.
