22 Apr 2024 Ogbomoso Residents To Enjoy Water Flow Soon

The Oyo State Government has assured residents of Ogbomoso town and its environs to expect restoration of water flow soonest. 

Chairman of Water Corporation, Hon. Elias Adeojo affirmed this commitment while inspecting the ongoing works in the Randa and Waterworks of Ogbomoso Area. 

He explained that the rehabilitation efforts are close to completion, with engineers from the Corporation committed to delivering the project as scheduled

The Chairman stressed further that the State Government is on track to fulfill its promises to the populace, noting that the recent test-run of the repaired  work revealed some burst pipes within the metropolis, which are currently being replaced. 

He said, “The Oyo State Government’s dedication to improving infrastructure and ensuring the provision of essential services such as potable water is a testament to its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for its citizens.”

Earlier in his remarks, the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye, praised the chairman for his pivotal role and the contributions of other distinguished sons and daughters of Ogbomoso towards the project’s success.

He also called upon other Monarchs and public-spirited individuals in the State to play their parts in the State’s development, adding that the Government cannot shoulder the responsibility of providing basic amenities with limited resources alone.
